BetterNotes on the web
Your notebooks,
in any browser.
Open every notebook from any computer. Read your handwriting, search it, study with the margin and keep typing. Writing with a pen stays in the apps.
The web app: handwriting on the left is view-only, the typed note on the right is fully editable.
The library
The same shelf,
in your browser.
Folders, notebooks and their first pages look just like they do on your tablet. Drag a notebook into a folder here and it's filed on your tablet too.
The web library: the same glass sidebar, folders and notebooks as the iPad app.
What you can do
Everything except the pen.
The web is for reviewing, studying and typing, from a library computer, a work laptop or anywhere you are.
An honest answer
Why you can't draw on the web.
A pen only feels like a pen when ink appears under the tip the instant it touches the screen. Our native apps are built for that on every tablet. Browsers can't do it reliably on every device yet, and we would rather not ship ink that lags.
So writing stays in the apps, and the web is built to be great at everything else.
The apps
Write on any tablet.
Pick up the pen on the device you have. Everything you write shows up on the web.
